Protest begins... again
On the first day of their second phase of protests demanding 'civilian supremacy', Maoists affected the general lives on first November, 2009. In Kathmandu, the Maoist cadres carried torch; the rally that started from Old Bus Park, circling Tudikhel. The traffic of the valley was in chaos and general public were finding difficulty to reach home since the protest program was held in the evening.
Media reported that a motorbike accident was caused due to the heaps of charred sticks thrown carelessly by the Maoists. Even after the protest, vehicular movement was affected because of the heap of charred sticks in the road.
