Bikram Amatya from Kalanki shares

It was all fun on July 20, 2009 while I was traveling from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Beautiful riverside, green hills, channa chatpat of Madesi dai were all noticeable things.

But the most disgusting thing happened was highway bandh at Adhamghat of Dhading district called by Y.C.L. The banda was called for a tender of a bridge. There was huge cue of vehicles. I had to wait till four hours until the banda was finally called off. Those 4 hours were the most miserable time for me. As I was traveling alone in the bus, I could not find anyone with whom I could talk to. It was also not possible to walk to Kathmandu through there. In addition, there were not any hotels nearby where I could have my lunch. Furthermore, the street vendors were selling Chana-Chatpate and Pani-puri at a very high price and the water they used was also very dirty.

There was no network of cell phone. I could not inform the situation to family as well. There was no security. Agitators threatened us that if we violate the Bandh they could even kill us. All the passengers suffered a lot. I felt they were brutal anti-social agents.
